Albany Autos Isuzu Ute Dealer

I recently purchased my second Dmax from Albany Autos, the first was nearly 5 years ago and at the time I thought this has to be my best buying experience purchasing a vehicle. Michael Ryan at the time went the extra distance to provide not only as good or better deal than I had been promised in Perth but followed up on all aspects of the deal.So this time round I returned to find a replacement for my nearly five year Dmax with 240,000 on the clock. Too many kms was the call every where I went so tradein value was too low to trade. I then set about getting the best deal I could trying dealers in Perth, Bunbury and Albany Autos, this didn’t go that well between myself and some sales staff in my negotiation. I emailed Michael who called me back within a short period of time and we negotiated a good deal. I was given a date to pick the new one up, the day before I went in on my way throughAlbany to try and workout some way of picking the new one up as I wasn’t trading a vehicle so could swap vehicles over. Michael arranged for the vehicle to be ready in a few hours which I really appreciated, it saved me hours of travel which was looking like a bus trip if I could get to the bus stop.Over the last five years I have found the service staff to be very helpful on the few occasions I have been in as nothing has gone wrong with the 2013 Dmax, injectors at 160,000 kms was my only problem which was probably from dirty fuel. I’m looking forward to the next five years in the new Dmax and dealing with Albany Autos.

My experience was that I was interested in a particular Kia SUV and I initially found the sales rep to be friendly etc so a purchase by cash was made for over $30k.Promises were given with regards to the 7 year factory warranty however several weeks later AFTER the purchase I encountered issues with getting the warranty activated which also came with free RAC roadside assist.The issue was a fault on the dealer who hadn't registered the vehicle properly and Kia Australia were putting me back and forth to them to get the issue fixed. Another issue with the warranty activation was that the car hadn't yet has its proper 1st service and thus wasn't showing in the 'system'!!Anyhow a few months later it finally got activated. That's the first issue resolved..The 2nd issue was more down to the spiteful and arrogant attitude of the dealership owner Greg.When I had a paint issue 6 months ago I took the car in to see about getting something done under warranty. I was told by the service manager that he'd get back to me. No calls returned after several attempts.Eventually I asked to speak to Greg as I was running out of patience.He was very rude with me and refused point blank to help with the paint issue because 'I hadn't spent enough money with Albany Kia'!I stated that I bought a new car and spent a lot of money. His response was he couldn't care less and hung up. I was furious.Since then I have gone to Perth Kia dealers as frankly the customer service is a disgrace at Albany Autos, Western Australia.

What a great bunch of guys.Had a 50000 service today ( whilst on holidays )and it was completely hassle free. The service manager was great and the new/used car salesman was a wealth of info on the new Dmax. I know where I would get my car serviced if I lived here.

After 35 years of car ownership the single worst purchase I ever made was a relatively new but 2nd hand utility from Albany Autos. Initially it had to go back four times for repairs. Then I got a flat tyre. No big deal except the jack had been removed! Now, after a year of careful use (it seemed delicate! ) I have the inconvenience and expense of a blown head gasket. Doesn't seem right for a $19,000 2012 Triton with 160,000 on the clock. My advice would be to buy elsewhere.

Not sure what is wrong with these guys, they are pretty rude & aggressive and that was the owner. Went next door to Albany World of Cars and they were very nice and very helpful, pretty obvious who I will be doing business with in future. Thanks for warning me off!

Best car yard in WA

Service staff very pleasant and efficient. Dave organised transport to/from town while 80K service was attended. Workshop looked clean and well organised. Fair pricing, wouldnt hesitate to use again.

This business should be awarded a certificate for being the WORST car yard in Albany full stop! It starts at the top and the owner Greg clearly does not give a monkeys about his customers! Ripped off and a terrible state of servicing standards and a parts dept that has no idea about KIA!!
